I feel very fortunate that I get to do what I love every day. I have always had a passion for animals, but dogs have always had a special place in my heart. I have had dogs be a part of my life since childhood. Currently I have a rescue dachshund as part of my family. Her name is Kawi and she is five years old. I also have a new mixed breed puppy, Uzi. I love sharing the trials of puppy-hood with clients!

When I got out of high school I went straight into the work field. Now I am getting back on the path that I have always aspired to be on, so I went forward with my passion. I completed an internship at the SPCA in Winchester, VA. To gain some hands-on experience working with animals. Now I am a proud employee at Doggie Depot of Virginia LLC. I have been through training to learn as well as understand dog body language, behaviors, daycare evaluations, and much more. I am also certified in First Aid/CPR for animals.

I completed Dog Training Foundations by Karen Pryor and have been shadowing both group and individual training classes. I am excited to start teaching classes on my own and showing owners the potential their dogs have. I look forward to meeting your beloved pets, and to be a part of keeping them happy, healthy, and most importantly safe.
