My name is Ashlee Jones and I’m a life long animal lover. I currently own a Siberian Husky, a Lab mix, 2 horses, 2 ducks, 5 chickens and 4 cats. Growing up, I had gerbils, fish, and rabbits as well. I’m also a pet sitter so I’ve cared for a variety of animals from cows, llamas, birds, sheep, and more. I’m Pet CPR and First Aid trained, and have been an Equine Vet Assistant. I’ve worked at boarding facilities in northern Virginia and have worked for professional groomers. I’m the crazy lady that gets out of her car on I-66 in northern Virginia traffic to rescue a duck and her ducklings or stops to help a turtle cross the road. I have always wanted to work with animals and although I didn’t pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian, I will always have animals in my life and will always be there to help any animal I come across that needs it. At Doggie Depot, we also undergo lots of excellent training for fire and workplace safety, understanding dog language and interaction with other dogs, dog handling, and evaluating dogs for off-leash play. I absolutely love that Laura provides us with such great training. I look forward to having your furry family members with us at Doggie Depot.
